Configuration

RoDefend settings are split by purpose so moderators and admins can move quickly without confusion.

Recommended sections

  • Configuration: Presets and role permissions.
  • Monitoring: Health check and logs.
  • System: Recovery (syncbans) and full reset actions.

Why this structure works

  • Configuration stays focused on day-to-day setup.
  • Monitoring is where audit and diagnostics actions belong.
  • System contains higher-risk actions that should be grouped together.

Warnings and threshold actions

Warnings should be managed from the dashboard moderation settings so your team has one consistent system for escalation.

  • Each /warn adds to a player warning history.
  • You can set a warning threshold (for example 3 or 5) and the automatic action at threshold (usually ban).
  • Moderators can review with /warnings and clean mistakes with /delwarn.
  • Threshold behavior and warning settings should be edited in dashboard, then confirmed with the normal Save Changes flow.
Best practice: Keep warning thresholds and force-reason enabled together so escalations stay predictable and appeal logs stay clear.
Preset Reasons now have their own section and use the same Reset + Save Changes flow as other dashboard edits.
